Background & Rationale

Despite their critical role in shaping families, communities, and economies, women’s voices remain largely unheard in social and economic decision-making spaces. This exclusion often reinforces harmful gender norms, negative masculinity, and systemic inequalities, leaving women vulnerable to abuse, discrimination, and economic dependency.

WomenRise Dialogues was established to respond to this gap by creating a structured, safe, and respectful space where women—both highly vulnerable and moderately vulnerable—can openly discuss the challenges they face and contribute ideas toward inclusive and gender-responsive solutions.

Overall Goal

To amplify women’s voices and promote gender equality by creating safe dialogue spaces that encourage participation, leadership, and community-driven solutions.

Specific Objectives

1. To provide a safe and inclusive platform for women to express their experiences and concerns.

2. To promote gender equality and challenge negative masculinity through dialogue and awareness.

3. To address issues of abuse, exclusion, and marginalization affecting women.

4. To strengthen women’s participation in social and economic discussions within their communities.

• Facilitated dialogue sessions for women

• Awareness forums on abuse, rights, and protection
