together We Dance, Together we rise

Is a flagship creative arts initiative under the Talent Development Program of Most Of Us Community-Based Organization. The project uses dance as a powerful tool for youth expression, social behavior change, and economic empowerment. Through seasonal themed competitions, young dancers from Kakuma are supported to transform their talent into purpose-driven storytelling that addresses social issues affecting their communities.

 

The program combines online auditions, physical dance battles, mentorship, and creative industry exposure. Selected dance crews receive basic training, logistical support, and professional guidance before competing in live battles judged by national dance icon and influencer Tileh Pacbro, the program’s ambassador and chief judge. Beyond competition, Kakuma Dance Battle nurtures employability, digital branding skills, collaboration among creatives, and long-term pathways into the creative economy.
